We have been informed that Johnny Rowbotham who served onboard Lowestoft as a Stoker during the first commission 1961-1963 'crossed the bar' on the 30th November 2020.
Johnny stood-by the Lowestoft at the shipyard in Glasgow for a few months before the commissioning in Oct 1961
